What is AI-Gait?

AI-Gait (full name AI-Gait Optimization) utilizes an optimization algorithm to personalize the gait parameters for more natural and comfortable gait. 
The algorithm collects gait data of approximately 100 steps and calculates an optimal set of parameters for walking.

Note: These gait parameters are not visible in Setup tab of the app, and they are built-in parameters in the knee memory. 

How to Activate AI Gait Optimization?

1. Open the SETUP tab.  
2. Open the Advanced accordion and tap the AI Gait button. 
3. Tap "Start Optimization."
4. Read the pop-up message and press "Proceed."
5. Instruct the user to walk 100 to 110 steps. Not mandatory, but it is best to walk on level ground and in a straight line or back and forth.
6. Walk until the optimization progress bar is finished.
7. The optimized gait parameters are saved automatically afterwards.

How to Deactivate AI Gait Optimization?

1. Open the SETUP tab.  
2. Open the Advanced accordion and tap the AI Gait button. 
3. Tap "Remove Optimization."
4. Read the pop-up message and press "Proceed."
5. Optimization is now deactivated.

Note: Removing optimization will not affect user data or personal settings. After removing the optimization, the built-in default gait parameters are used.
